Well it use to be and the person selling this card makes reference to
a post I made saying it is.  When I posted the value of this card at
that time there were no sources for buyng them new.  Shortly after,
Shreve Systems magically produced a new batch of Superdrive controller
cards and they still sell them for $59 each.

So to answer your question: For as long as Shreve Systems has stock on
these cards, no they are not that rare.
