A friend's system is not booting into system 6.0.1 anymore. The error
code is 0C000005 on the system self test. He can boot 8 bit
programs but not 16 bit from the 3.5 " drive. There is a transwarp
4 meg RAM card, Apple SCSI and it's a ROM1. There is both an internal
and external hard drive. The internal drive is the boot and he's
aware it's been slowing down over time. I suggested running the
Transwarp self test and I have an 8 bit diagnostic disk for things
like the keyboard and mouse. He was going to press down all the
chips. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
