Well, unfortunately the answer is YES. Most of the BASICs from the 8-bit era come from Microsoft - either they're based on their 6502 BASIC (those have GET A$) or on their Z80 BASIC (those have A$=INKEY$). I don't know if the extensions in Applesoft that are Apple specific (like HGR, GR, TEXT...) were done by MS or by Apple.
Notable exceptions are Apple's Integer BASIC, and (I think) the BASIC of the TI 99/4A.
