The IIgs was late 1986. Of course there were third-party accelerators; in
1985 the fastest was probably 3.5 MHz.  And don't forget the Apple III, it
used a 2 MHz 6502, although I seem to remember it slowed down to 1 MHz for
some operations so the average speed was only about 1.4 MHz.
