Don't waste your money on a 256k card. Instead, go to Alltech
http://www.allelec.com/ and get yourself a Sirius RAM card with
4MB or up to 8MB of RAM. This is the range the IIGS really
needs.
Trying to run a IIGS with 512k (256k on motherboard and 256k
on a card such as the eBay one) is like trying to run Windows
with 32MB. A 4MB IIGS is similar to a 64MB Windows. An
8MB IIGS is similar to a 256MB Windows.
