You should be able to play with the priority settings of the emulator, can you
not?
In the WinNT/2000 Task Manager, find the process you want to increase. Right
click it and select "Set Priority", then select the priority you want. Be
forewarned that setting priority to "Realtime" is NOT a good idea...
