Re: Apple II with serial number 2000. Is this true?
I haven't the slightest idea, but if you know the sales figures for the
Apple II and II+ perhaps this will help. My Apple II+ has a hand written
label in the same corner of the board. It contains the number 10 above
the number 8130. While I can not identify the revision of the board, the
Apple II Reference Manual (1979/1981) leads me to believe that it is not
a revision 0 nor a revision 1 board. Maybe this information can tell you
whether your assumptions are reasonable or otherwise. Though I will say
that your edge-connectors are quite different from the models I have
encountered.
Good Luck,
Byron.
