That is correct. As long as the voltage is not less than the fuse you
are replacing. You need to get the current right and the "delay", that
is, normal speed (like 3AG) or slo-blo (like MDL). The type is marked
on the end cap.
The slo-blo type is readily identifiable by the "contents" of the fuse,
even after it's blown. If the blown fuse has no little "cartridge" left
in the barrel, then it's a normal fuse--otherwise it's a slo-blo.
