The time is not wasted unless it it unproductive. If 'code bloat' is a
problem due to poorly implemented (or designed) software then think of
"wast(ing) time choosing fonts" as poorly thought out (or designed)
page layout. Elegence of design requires forethought whether your
design is a computer program or a page layout. If you actually would
"waste time" because you had a G4 rather than an Apple IIgs then you
could hardly blame the platform. Again, this sounds like a personal
problem ;o)
btw, I'm not criticising your choice of computer. If your computer
"does all you need to do" then use it. I do, I have 2 IIgs's but I
have to write my programs for them using Bernie II the Rescue because
compilation takes hours on a real IIgs. If I didn't have an iMac I
wouldn't write programs for my Apple II's.
