It just hit me. Copy II Plus and similar programs would be illegal
today thanks to the Digital Millenium Copyright Act.
Did you guys read about the Russian programmer who is being
held in this country because he wrote a backup program for
e-books?
It is illegal to even publish methods of defeating copy protection.
They stopped a professor from lecturing on how he cracked DVD
copy protection.
How times have changed.
