Thanks! I'm proud of it. Building a site like this is not easy, and the time
involved is unreal. Each item was collected, disassembled, cleaned, repaired
(if needed) and then photographed. Each photo was edited, and then added to
the site. Ugh. Lots of work but it's nice to finally have it up for viewing.

That is a cool system, isn't it. It's one that I wanted for a long time, and
I decided no one was going to outbid me on it when I found it on ebay. Even
so, I think I only paid about a $100.00 for it.

This came out before the IIe Platinum. This case is the original version of
the IIe -notice the older style keyboard. To my knowledge, Apple never sold
this system off the shelf. If you already had a IIe, you could buy the IIgs
upgrade kit (or send your IIe in to Apple and they would put it together for
you.) I'm not sure if Apple included a new case lid, or just the IIgs label
sticker that you would stick on after you removed the IIe label. This case
is beige, rather than the platinum color of the IIe Platinum.

Cool. I've always been more interested in the earlier II's but the IIgs has
some nice features. This system is kind of a happy medium for me -older
(less Mac like) style with the guts of a IIgs.
