Greetings
Quick question, and this might just be a memory jogger as I have not
been in the IIe environment for a long long time.
I finally got my serial transfer of *.dmp to work, and I would elaborate
why i was unable to before but it's too embarrassing.
My question is, after transferring adtn.zip (or any variants), I am left
with the end of the file on the display, and a '*' prompt. The instructions
at the end of adtn.dmp to save to disk did not work, no disk activity.
I am not sure what to do at the * prompt, BASIC commands do nothing.
In the case of dos33.dmp, it transfers fine as well, but at the end of the
file,
the disk drive just starts spinning, and control of the terminal is never
relenquished
to the user, it just hangs. I tried "IN#0" on both the pc and the apple, no
dice.
Both behaviors are consistent. Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Jayson
