You could use the Apple Printer Utility to rename them: one as
something like IIg-Ethernet, the other IIg-LocalTalk. I don't know if
it supports different names on different networks but that shouldn't
matter if you only have them on one network each. I do believe the
Apple Printer Utility comes with most versions of the LaserWriter
software and probably will be installed with Mac OS 8.5.
