Al Todd's suggestion regards the game port is facinating and I would love it 
if someone with the talent takes up that.  'twould be grand but, till then:

pointers, and such on the LANceGS card and links to the supplier.
For a copy of the Apple II TCP/IP stack (and with it our absolute gratitude

 That last link has a wealth of other links to other sites you would find of
