Re: low level format on a lisa?



I am pretty sure some documentation (RFC somewhere?) exists for such things,
as I recall having to sign a petition to start a rec.arts.* newsgroup once
before. Non-alt.* groups are required to follow a procedure to have
newsgroup created. Once created most news administrators will carry the
newsgroup. The alt.* hierarchy on the other hand follows absolutely no rule
whatsoever; anyone can create an alt. newsgroup. But news administrators are
not required to carry any alt.* newsgroups.
