Re: Update: Win2k to IIgs

Good stuff, William! It's exciting to get the IIgs networked, eh? :)

Your network problems could be either from the IIgs side or the Mac side.
It's been a while since I was doing any networking on a Mac, but I recall
having to enable sharing on the Mac volume, and specifying that the guest
could see it. And on the IIgs side, I had to have the port set up properly
(ROM01 and ROM03 AppleTalk port setup differences: slot 1 or 2 set to "your
card"/Slot 7 set to "AppleTalk" - for ROM01. Slot 1 or 2 set to "AppleTalk"
for ROM03.) On the IIgs, you have install the AppleShare extension from the
Sys 6.0.1 installer.

Were you ever able to see the Mac from the IIgs but now it's not working, or
were you not ever able to see it?

Cheers!
Tim
