As William has already pointed out, yes, SCSI Zip drives work fine.
There are also many other SCSI drives that work fine on Apple IIs. I
use a SCSI CD-ROM drive, a SCSI Syquest EZ135 drive, several SCSI hard
drives and a SCSI magneto-optical drive on my IIgs.

I haven't tried my SCSI Iomega Jaz drive yet as it is currently
installed in my PC's tower case and as I only have one cartridge for
it and there seems to be something wrong with either the drive or the
cartridge I haven't been using it at all. However, I'm sure it will
work just fine on my IIgs. Now if only the computer store here that
has Jaz cartridges would drop their price drastically, I could get
another cartridge to check out my drive.
