Hi folks,
Been reading the GS messages on here and so far nobody's touched on my
question.....I've got 2 GS' now, one signed by the man himself (not
the 'signature' edition - a proper sig, it's also dedicated to the
previous owner) and one boxed one, both of which I'm particularly
pleased with.
However, I've eventually got my paws on the 5 1/4" drive to go with
it, but because my main machine is a PC (sorry) I'm having to rely on
800K images to get me going. Can I use the 800K external floppy from
the Mac Plus or do I need the GS 3 1/2" floppy? I've tried making 800K
disk images on a Performa 5300 but I get no joy on the IIGS....
Any suggestions welcome; I've got a lot of Macs in the museum from the
Plus up to the Performa 6320 so there's a variety of hardware to play
with, failing that has anyone got a GS 3 1/2" drive for sale at not
ebay prices?
thanks!
