I seem to remember seeing that a ROM 1 used both slot 1 and
slot 7 for Appletalk. ROM 3 machines use only Slot 1 or Slot 2
freeing up slot 7. I use a ROM 3 machine. Do you want one?
I have three ROM 3 machines. I only bought them for the cards.
One had a Apple HS SCSI card in it for $1.99 (machine plus
card), the other had a 4 meg Q-RAM card I bought it for, and
the other one I bought was my first IIgs.
