Absolutely we can help! Here is a suggestion meant both to educate and put you on to the right information...
Since you are running a Mac you need to check out a newsgroup for your computer and not one for a different kind of computer made by the same company. You need to check groups with "mac" in the name not "apple2". The "apple2" part refers to the Apple// computer which is not a Mac. By checking out Mac groups you'll get more appropriate information than you would from another group such as PC users for example.
