On the subject of Apple II film appearances, I'm sure many of
you have seen at least a dozen examples of "computer data"
scrolling, quickly or slowly, on a green screen monitor...and it
was quite recognizably an Apple II monitor "List" disassembly
or hex dump!

I figure that when the script called for some scrolling gobbledegook,
the effects folks did the easiest thing they could think of and 
fired up an Apple II.  And in Applesoft, the SPEED command
made it trivial to alter the rate at which data appeared, to achieve
the desired dramatic effect.  ;-)
