Looking for game title and location.

Hi guys,

Another request for a game (name and possible location).

 I played this on an old Apple II(e?) back in high school in about 87. The
 game rocked and had half the school hooked for a number of weeks.  We
played
 it on a green screen.

 You have a little jet in the middle of the screen and it had a number on
 it's tail.  You had a left and right turning key on the keyboard and
 acceleration and deceleration keys as well, not to mention the shoot key.

 You could play single player and take on other jets and helicopters as the
 levels increased or you could play multiplayer up to about 10 juets/people
 at once.  I remember this game at it's peak when we had ten sets of hands
on
 one keyboard at a time and everyone crowded around the computer.

 I can't remember the name of this game and after a few days of searching
 cannot find it anywhere?  Can anyone help?
