With some products it was. There was a 65816 daughter card for the RamWorks.
I think these were mostly likely bought by programmers before the IIgs came
out,
to get some experience programming the 65816. I recall the adds saying there
was
no existing software for the option then later ads mentioned vip professional.
Wonder
if anyone bought the otion thinking there'd somday be a bunch of software for
it.
