The daisy-chain board in the 3.5" Unidisk was designed to be used
in a sort of 3.5" version of the DuoDisk but Apple only sold single
drives. However the 3.5" UniDisks daisychain board has a spot for
the drive 2 connector and there's places for a number of resistors,
capacitors and diodes that were left out. Has anyone here ever added
those parts and used the daisy-chain board to run 2 drives? I'm hoping
someone has and can give me the values on the parts.
We've got an Apple II meeting coming up next month and I'm considering
a small joke. I'm thinking of installing a 3.5" Unidisks daisy-chain
board in
a platinum 3.5" drive and leaving it hooked up to a IIc. I guess my nerd
side
rises to the top when Apple II meetings get close
