It would still use a 4:1 interleave either way. The Apple 3.5
drive used a 2:1 interleave which would make data access
faster but a 2:1 interleaved disk in a Unidisk wouldn't make
it any faster due to the slow I/O of the Unidisk drive. I think
it would actually slow the access down since it would have to
let the disk make an additional spin to fetch the next sector.
