What you have is a hard drive on a card and a CMS SCSI card.
The CMS SCSI card would usually go in slot 7 while the hard drive part
should be fine in any slot as all it should need is power. Looks like the
hard drive it uses came out of an early Mac  possibly the Powerbook 100.
A number of people that frequent this group use the CMS SCSI card.
