Yes, it is a 68K Mac. You can get the specifications for it at:
http://www.info.apple.com/info.apple.com/applespec/applespec.taf?RID=84
Or if the Apple site does require you to be registered, you can go to:
http://www.apple-history.com/quickgallery.html?where=performa.html
Find your 636CD on there (It'll be listed with the Quadra 630) and then
you can get the same info as the Apple site in a different format.
