Re: Eamon(?) games

Sorry, I've been out of the newsgroup for a while due to personal stuff. I
hope I haven't missed too much of significance.

The Eamon maps on the CD are neat, especially Sam Ruby's wonderful original
hand-drawn ones that look like real maps, but it is not a complete set.

My Eamon CD also contains a complete set of Eamon newsletters going back to
the first issue in March 1984. These newsletters contain tons and tons of
good stuff such as reviews of all of the Eamons, and they include reference
lists so you can find stuff. Many of the hardest Eamons have had
walk-throughs published in the newsletter. I've printed several articles on
cheating in Eamon that show how to do stuff like resurrect yourself without
restarting a game or return back through a door that locked behind you. Lots
more stuff like that, such as alternate Apple II Eamon systems and two Eamon
systems for MS-DOS.

There is lots and lots more. Over 1600 files, all of it organized and
usually including README files I've added. The CD uses the universal ISO9660
format that every computer is supposed to support.

I charge U.S. $3.00 for the CD for USA and Canada. International is U.S.
$7.00. These prices include shipping. I accept cash or check. International
people should contact me for additional payment options.

I should also note that the standard CD does not include the two x-rated
Eamons. If you want those included, you should request the "full" set and
state that you are over 18. FWIW orders run about 50/50 for the two
versions.
