Apple monitor, keyboard and mouse for WinNT applications

Hi,

Could somebody please help me with the following problem:

Our library is planning to cutover to a new Windows 2000 Server based application. At the moment we do not yet have a server, but a couple of Windows 98 PCs which run a centrally (remote) controlled Windows application (connnected via cluster controller).

These current PCs however operate on Apple monitors, mice and keyboards as the management wanted the library to have an Apple 'look and feel' regardless the fact that the applications needed to run under Windows.

The thing is that we now want to know how this was technically established (special windows PC card, special device drivers ??). The person in charge has left the library in a conflict and the original supplier is unwilling to reveal this information to us (as we are about to make the new server deal with another supplier).

We want to upgrade the current Win98 PCs to Win2000 workstation PC and we also want to purchase 6 new Win 2000 workstation PCs but our new director still wants to maintain the Apple monitors, keyboards and mice.
Questions:

1. If special cards and drivers are present on these Win98 PCs, will this still run after the Win2000 Workstation upgrade ? 2. What extra hardware/software do we need on the 6 new Win2000 workstations to operate on the above mentioned Apple hardware ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance
