Before you insert an unfamilliar floppy disk into your drive, rotate
it.  If there is gunk on the disk surface, use some alcohol and a box of
qtips or a lint free cotton cloth to wipe the stuff off.  If the disk
disintegrates, be glad it didn't do that in your drive.
