Okay. If it is a *real* ST-506 interface from the PC, why can't
you use any MFM drive from the 80's designed to be used for
the PC. There were millions made. Would it be possible to
format it and partition it on the PC and then move it to an Apple?
Just a thought. Of course, that would require a PC with a ST-506
controller and HD. You might be able to find an original ST-506
in an real IBM XT. There sits a 10 meg version here in town at
a thirft store last time I looked.
