Travan 8 Tape Drive and G3 with OS 8.x

Hi all;

I am a G3 owner, and I'm trying to get an APS Travan 8 tape drive to
work with it. The model number is 2094-008P, and it's SCSI-2.

Now to the questions, as I haven't hooked it up yet:

1. Is there native (built-in support) for tape drives like this in Mac
OS 8.x?
2. If not, is there a resource on the Apple site for integrating the
drive to the OS (e.g., driver software)?
3. Where can I find a copy of Retrospect for a reasonable price?
