LocalTalk = AppleTalk over serial.  PhoneNet = Rj-12 (phone) adapters
that let you use phone line instead of serial cable to link two
machines.  I've got this going on my IIgs--found the connectors readily
avail @ CompUSA 1 year ago in the Mac section.
