I have a '78 model Apple II which I killed some years ago by removing
and reinserting a card while the machine was on. (I was little and
ignorant, blah). I haven't turned it on in some time, but I was
wondering two things: What is most likely to be damaged, and what
other models are chips interchangeable with ('79 II, II+, etc.)? I
would really like to get it working again; it was in pristine
condition when I got it (for free by someone who didn't care, what
luck!) and I doubt acquiring another one would be an easy or
inexpensive task.
