wow a response to my post... i thought people were ignoring me ;')

i just hook it up and go into the setup menu and it shows up right now i
have my zip as the first drive (it divides up the zip cart into 3 32meg
partions) and my syquest EZ-Flyer as the second (it divides up the syquest
into 6 32meg partitions and 1 partition of ~57000 blocks)

when i go into setup (by holding control+command+shift when first starting
up) with both drives connected it shows drive one being the zip cart
partition 1 (the zip is SCSI ID6 and the Syquest is ID 5) and drive two as
zip cart partition 2, then i use down arrow to select the second partition
and use the right arrow to select the first partition of the syquest (it
lists the partitions in order zip disk partition1 then part2 etc, then
starts syquest partition 1 the part 2 etc... and once GS/OS boots it says
'file translators cant be found for this device. do you want to initialize?'
and i hit initialize, and all works rightously...

i just did a test and copied the system folder and a couple other folders
from the zip to the syquest and it boots fine... i also took the syquest and
placed it in the trash and it took it off the desktop and i ejected it with
no problems... when i put it back in it didnt come back up on the desktop
(damn!) but hey it works so i am not going to complain... maybe when i can i
will write a util to remount volumes once they have been ejected... dont see
the usefulness of this considering how it works but it would be interesting
to look into...

if the faq maintainers would like a section on CMS SCSI card use i would
offer to write it if needed...

note: this info is provided AS IS and the only garantee i make is it does
the above stated on my CMS SCSI card... if others work differently then the
above may or may nor work... you know the old YMMV clause ;')

sloopy.

if you have any other questions/ comments email or post here...
