Re: 8-bit Appleworks files

Totally snide and unrelated to the subject matter -

I'm not one-upmanshiping anything nor anybody with my efforts

freeware project? >>

Certainly not - what a silly comment for you to make Penman.
Ask Willie just who motivated him to start his 'Treasure Chest Project'
in the first place. He's already posted on this newsgroup ore than one time,
that it was me who motivated him to start his project.

Project. >>

Learn to spell properly. 'suspeciously' needs an 'i' between
the 'p' and 'c' -- not an 'e' . :)

You must be blind Penman. My folder has contents of archives,
manuals, text files and graphics of the programs offered from it
that the public can both find and download for their needs.

Unlike the 'Lost Classics Project' hosted by Syndicomm -- which
simple (at the current time) has a URL and web page that consist
of links to nothing - giving a 404 style message when you click on
anything there.

Also, there are several reclassified titles that...
Howard Katz (uhum) has gained freeware reclassification for
(and, thanks for your efforts Howard)...
such as: Beneath Apple DOS and Beneath Apple ProDOS -- that
were said to be available from several sites by there author
when I emailed him on the matters of their being available to the public
as freeware -- but, I can't locate the archives on any site, not gno.org
nor any other Apple2 site. Well, actually there is a hacked version of
'Beneath Apple DOS' on the Asimov ftp site. But, it's not the official
real released version on disk. I do have both: Beneath Apple DOS and
Beneath Apple ProDOS. Guess it's time to upload them to the Asimov site.

Just when is the 'Lost Classics Project' hosted by Syndicomm
going to get it together 'ONLINE' so Apple II users can have access to
such reclassified freeware titles from the 'OFFICIAL APPLE2 SITES?

<< But then again, knowing you, you enjoy stealing
from the best, eh?

Penman >>

You really don't know me at all Penman -- so PLEASE don't claim that
you do!!! In answer to your stupid and snide question above - the
answer is simply -> NO! There is no 'best' to steal from.

Cheers,
Tom
