Hello again, first I want to say thanks to all the people who helped with
mockingboard related questions.
Now for the bad part of the message, I just stupidly managed to kill this
Apple II+ clone, by starting to re-insert a Z80 card (MS compatible) while
it was turned on. Unfortunately this thing doesn't have the warning LED of
the original. I started inserting the card, pushing in the back end first.
When I heard a noise on the speaker I immediatley turned off the power
switch, took everything out and turned it back on. Now the video circuits
still work OK it seems (garbage consisting of valid characters shows up on
the screen, some of them flashing) but the processor doesn't seem to run.
At least the situation stays the same when I take out the processor and
then turn it on. My question is, is the processor itself the most likely
thing to have gone, or something else? The exact processor version is
R6502-11 from 1979.
Thanks for any help.
