I did the cache mod where I cut out the center of the SRAM sockets and
installed another row of pins so I could use narrow SRAM and installed
15ns SRAM.
I replaced the 74F00 chip with a 74HC00. I topped out at about 12mhz
before I did this mod
Then started trying faster oscillators. I got up to 15mhz, 16 usually crashes
during booting or shortly thereafter.
I'm still using the original 8mhz 65816. I tried a 14mhz 65816 but it didn't
do anything for me and when I pulled it to try in someones accelerator that
was misbehaving I never put it back.
