Apple made a 32KB card if my memory serves me.
I just checked Apple's Tech Info Library and I was correct.
http://til.info.apple.com/techinfo.nsf/artnum/n5353 gives all the
differences between the Imagewriter II and II/L.
The 32KB card does not function in the II/L.
I have a 1MB card from Sequential Systems that also doubles as a
LocalTalk card in my printer. I cannot recall which model I have
(I have manuals for both versions).
