Oh, they are.  The 80186 is also still rather popular (it pops up
quite a lot in cheap disk controllers and the like, and consumer
appliances - my fridge has one for no reason that I can fathom).  Even
the 6502 and Z80 are still being manufactured for use in embedded
systems.
