Check (as I said a few dozen messages ago) www.pricewatch.com
and find out how little a PIII Gigahertz SYSTEM really costs.

(Here's a hint:  $418,  INCLUDING  Windows OS)

Or go for an Athlon Gigahertz for about $300  (again INCLUDING
Windows.)
