...Simple (or in other words - STUPID) Question...

Ok...How can I do something as simple as create a bootable disk on the IIgs
using ProDOS?

I have been able to format using the "Mac-like Finder" or the preinstalled
Appleworks...the disks are not startable though, being blank.  I tried
copying some of the files from the root of /H1 but then it gives me a
failure to load GS/OS which means I took the wrong files...

I am sure there used to be a much easier way...I always thought it was just
"INIT HELLO" but I am guessing that has long since changed...and I am leary
of playing with INIT too much as I am working on a HDD and do not want to
accidentally toast the volume...

Assuming I am trying to create a basic startup disk in my first 3.5"
drive...(thats S5, D1 right?) what do I type at the ProDOS prompt?

I have tried switching to the floppy and then running "INIT, S5" and
variants but no luck.

Please bare with me...its been awhile.  I could do this stuff with my eyes
closed in early grade school...its amazing how much information ~15yrs of
MSDOS and Windows 3.x/9x/NT/2k causes one to lose.
