Does it really make a difference for the type of software your
limited to on a PC/XT compatible? Afterall, the PC-Transporter
only offers a NEC V30 @ 7.16 MHz, 640K with CGA graphics.

Disk space isn't usually a problem if your using DOS hardisk
images. After a complete DOS 6.22 installation (on the 32 MB
ProDOS partition I set aside for my PCT) there was still plenty
of space left over. I also can't remember any instances where
a program refused to run because of lack of free memory. And
DOSShell provided a somewhat functional graphical interface
atop MS-DOS 6.22 (I'm not sure if it runs under MS-DOS 3.3).
