     The usual sequence of 'from scratch' improvements for a IIgs is ...

o- Transfer DOS 3.3 using a NULL modem connection to 'type in' the dump file
at a low baud rate-- ref.
http://www.apple2.org.za/gswv/a2zine/Sel/dos33dmp.htm .

o- With DOS 3.3 running on the IIgs, transfer ADTgs (v.91) using the same
method as above-- ref. http://www.apple2.org.za/gswv/a2zine/gswv/ADTWin.html
; download ADTwin (ADTw122.zip) to get adt.exe for Windows to run on PC;
download ADTgs91.zip and follow directions.

o- On the IIgs under DOS 3.3, INIT several DD ("360k") diskettes to serve as
targets for transferred disk images from the PC.

o- Download several utilities disks (.dsk file disk images) from Ground or
GSWV-- ref. http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/Csa2FLUTILS.html#disks .

o- Run ADT (ADTgs) on the IIgs and adt.exe (for Windows) on the PC. Set baud
rate to 9600 baud on both systems, and transfer the .dsk disk images to
diskettes. This will get you ShrinkIt, one or two general purpose telecom
programs, and several other good utilities.

     Eventually, you will probably want to have Spectrum or Proterm going (at
around 38k baud or better) as your usual file transfer utility.
