Unless you want your Apple II to hang, the code pointed to by the
RESET vector had better do SOMETHING! Remember that the CPU just
jumps there; there is no automatic return. The option of "letting
the RESET code do nothing" doesn't exist; it has to do something.

...or INIT the DOS 3.3 disk to run the startup program with a name of
your choice. The syntax is:
INIT <STARTUP_PROGRAM_NAME>
