I didn't have an Apple II back then but I did have a Tandy
Color Computer. I was in college and couldn't afford to spend
a whole lot on computers. I used a black/white TV for my
display since color TV's were way too much. A good Black
White 12 inch TV cost me over a hundred bucks and a good
color 13 inch was around $250. I didn't get a color monitor
until 1996 when I upgraded to a Tandy Coco III. I know
this is not Apple stuff but it shows you that Color, although
available, was expensive in those days.
