What types of dye are we talking about? I use Memorex disk which have
a yellowish color. My drive is an HP CD-Writer Plus 4X. I was hoping
that if I could find a SCSI adapter that I could burn GS files on my PC
and be able to read them on the IIgs.

Will they read a CD-R disk?

I would be formatting the disk to be read with a IIgs. I was thinking
of making backups of all IIgs files so that they don't get lost on aging
magnetic media.

I use Adaptec Easy CD Creator which supports both
Joilet format and ISO 9660. The online help says that
the ISO format works with Unix, OS-2, and Macs. It
will record both Mode 1 (single session) or Mode 2
(multi session) disk.
