All CD drives will read ISO9660 CDROMs. You just need to have the FST installed
in the IIgs hard drive

I have both the Apple Hi-Speed SCSI card and a Ramfast 3.01F. I find I rarely
use the Apple Hi-Speed as I haven't found a single situation where the Ramfast
was't considerably faster.
Right now I have a Quantum 270mb hard drive, a Magneto-Optical, 200mb Syquest,
and a 40X Toshiba CDROM hooked up to my Ramfast.

The 40X Toshiba CD-ROM doesn't seem to allow me to play music. I have a 2X & a
4X NEC that do play music. When I bought the Toshiba I didn't even consider
music as it'd been more than 2 years since I'd last played a music CD on the
IIgs

There are some newer hard drived like the Quantum Fireball which apear to demand
the SCSI card use a SCSI ID which the Ramfast doesn't. These drives really don't
work with the Ramfast

There are no Apple programs that'll write to a CD.
I believe there's a few currant production CD players that work with the
Ramfast, playing music,possibly not.
