Well, in 1982 you wouldn't have had a //e for a start - they weren't
released
until 1983! I'm open to correction by others, but I don't think the UniDisk
and
Duodisk drives were released until later again.
As for the monitor, *very* few people had colour monitors, they were just
*too* expensive. If you wanted colour, you bought a small color TV for games
and used the monochrome monitor for text.
(Side note: My color "monitor" (as described above :-) purchased around
1982/83
is *still* going strong as a TV for the kids!)
