There goes some of my 15 minutes of fame. :-) The funny thing is that I
don't recall ever actually using it myself in anything, though I might've
used some of the routines in screen-dump programs and such.  It seemed like
an interesting problem, though, and one that I didn't see addressed anywhere
else.

One- and two-liners were sometimes the best part of an issue.  I think there
was even one that was so useful at something that I kept it around on
disk...can't remember offhand what it was, though.  (Wait, I think I
remember now...there was a program that displayed a calendar for a month.  I
added some code around it to get it to print a calendar for a year.)
